Rex House, Regent Street, London SW1

HEWN, the niche flexible workspace practice, acting on behalf of Regus, the world’s largest workplace provider, has secured a letting from the Crown Estate for some 19,500 sq. ft. on three floors at Rex House, Regent Street SW1.

Arranged over the 4th , 6th and part 7th the Centre is Regus’ seventy fifth in London and features a large ‘Campus’ facility (co-working space)- a high-tech business lounge, a range of private offices and meeting rooms available on a flexible basis.

Rex House was constructed in 1938 by the architect Robert Cromie, and was once home to the Paris Cinema and BBC radio studios, but now features a Grade A office space.  The ground floor reception area has very recently been remodelled by Birgit Klein.

Commenting on the acquisition Will Kinnear of HEWN said “We are very pleased to have been able to secure the best possible terms on behalf of our clients at such a high profile location given that the Central London market is particularly active a present with such a limited supply and high demand levels. We are looking forward to acquiring further sites on behalf of Regus throughout London and the rest of the UK.”
